Situation
TELUS Health, a division of TELUS Corporation, faced limitations in its Customer Provider Registry (CPR) system, which was used to maintain customer data. As a company that harnesses information in the health industry, data quality and accuracy is paramount to its success. Its legacy system was incapable of supporting the increasing volume of data.
Additional challenges faced with the organization’s CPR system included:
- Lack of data matching;
- Lack of address cleansing;
- Usability issues and inflexibility;
- Compromised data integrity;
TELUS sought a solution that would better manage its data integrity, improve operational efficiency, and provide the ability to leverage data for future projects in order to increase revenue.
