Congratulations to Divya S. for earning AST’S Employee of the Month award for October 2015!
Divya is being recognized for her hard work, diligence, and effort on two challenging projects. She has continually ensured that both projects are receiving the utmost attention, which is a great leadership quality that each team has come to expect from her. She has successfully supported go-live, training, and post-production activities on one project, while continuing with SOA solution development on another.
Divya’s endless dedication and attentiveness has been noteworthy. Her team has witnessed the many late hours and weekends that she has poured into making these projects successful, while assisting junior resources with her infinite enthusiasm.

Oracle recently announced two new cloud services, Oracle SOA Cloud and Oracle API Manager Cloud, as part of its new Oracle Cloud Platform for Integration. The integration platform is a game changer for customers looking to take advantage of today’s cloud environment, while leveraging legacy and on-premise systems.
Prior to this announcement, integration between on-premise and cloud applications was limited to Oracle Integration Cloud or a custom on-premise integration solution. The Oracle SOA Cloud Service using Oracle SOA Suite as its foundation provides a flexible iPaaS option to quickly build integrations. With support for hybrid integration and the deployment portability feature, customers can easily migrate from the cloud to on-premise, and back again, based on their business requirements.
With security being a priority for every customer, the new Oracle API Manager Cloud offers the ability to securely expose REST- and SOAP-based APIs. Securely exposing your organization’s APIs to internal and external consumers can help create innovative interfaces for end users.
The additions to the Oracle Cloud Platform for Integration has made a hybrid cloud environment a real option. Customers now have a viable solution to best leverage cloud and on-premise solutions.

David has completed 11certifications: Oracle Linux 6 PreSales and Sales Specialist, Oracle Database 12c PreSales and Sales Specialist, General Product Support Specialist (v3.0), iStore Support Specialist, Oracle Exadata Database Machine 2014 Support Specialist, Oracle Exalogic Elastic Cloud 2014 Sales Specialist, Oracle Solaris 10 Support Specialist, Oracle Taleo Enterprise Cloud Service 2013 Support Specialist, and MySQL PreSales Specialist!  Wow!
Carlos is not far behind with 7 certifications: Oracle Data Integration 11g PreSales and Sales Specialist, Oracle Business Intelligence Cloud Service Specialist, Oracle Data Integrator 12c PreSales and Sales Specialist, and Oracle Business Intelligence Foundation Suite 11g Sales Specialist. Carlos also completed his Oracle Data Integrator 11g Certified Implementation Specialist exam!
Lynn obtained 3 additional certifications this month: Oracle E-Business Suite 12.1 Projects Support Specialist and Oracle E-Business Suite Human Capital Management Support Specialist.
