Chicago Tribune Top 100 Workplaces for 2014AST Corporation is pleased to announce that it has been selected as one of The Chicago Tribune Top 100 Workplaces for 2014.

The Tribune’s Top Workplaces are determined solely on employee feedback. After being invited to participate as a company, a survey was sent asking employees about their feelings toward their workplace with focus on issues such as: direction of the company (“I have confidence in the company’s leadership”), execution (“We do things efficiently and well”), and connection (“My job makes me feel like I am part of something meaningful”).

The Chicago Tribune published the complete list of Top Workplaces on November 14th. For more information about the Top Workplaces visit www.topworkplaces.com.

e-business-roundtable

AST’s E-Business Public Sector Roundtables are forums where users, who have invested in Oracle E-Business Suite, meet to discuss topics relevant to their industry, learn about innovative solutions, and network with their counterparts.  The Roundtables are an extension of our efforts to promote a meaningful and continuing cooperation between E-Business users, and provide a setting where participants can foster their own development and that of their organization.

Our most recent Roundtable with the Mid-Atlantic chapter was its second meeting and a successful one.  Representatives from Oracle and Arlington Public Schools delivered a combined seven presentations, including topics on Oracle products and solutions: HCM Cloud Recruiting, Cloud Budgeting, Managed Cloud Services, XML Publisher, WebCenter and Supplier Lifecycle Management, along with a keynote on industry trends and solutions in modern government.  Attendees from public sector organizations from Maryland, Virginia, and the DC area met together, attended breakout sessions, and compared and shared experiences throughout the day.  Click here to find more information about the Mid-Atlantic E-Business Roundtable.

Trick or Treat!  It’s scary how good a few people around here are with a knife.  The Chicago Bears pumpkin looks appropriately sad, but it has a bye week this Sunday, and will be happier as a pie in a few weeks.
