Investing in Your Oracle Community
A recent blog post by Traust Consulting President Mark Peterson highlights the importance of being involved in and giving back to your Oracle Community – a practice that AST is no stranger to. With the upcoming North Central Oracle Apps User Group (NCOAUG) Annual Training Day this Friday, March 10, we felt it was appropriate to point out the importance of Oracle community involvement, and to thank those who make such exciting events a reality.
Peterson says in his post, “Helping foster local relationships and providing timely/relevant events has always been a top priority for your local OAUG groups. A commitment to delivering excellent presentations and networking events are cornerstones that all of us benefit from, but the OAUG cannot do it alone.”
From volunteering to host an event, presenting your expertise on relevant topics, or raising interest in other ways – with time and/or money – Oracle Applications User Groups around the country benefit from everyone involved in bringing these critical networking and educational events to life.
A Silver Sponsor of this year’s NCOAUG Training Day, AST is heavily involved in bringing these opportunities to our local Oracle Community, fully understanding both the benefits that come from such participation, as well as the commitment. (For the record, the benefit far outweighs the cost.) In addition to NCOAUG, AST’s participation in other User Group events around the country help us to collaborate not only with those right in our backyard, but from coast to coast, growing our network of valuable business relationships, sharing our knowledge, and learning from others to, in turn, give right back to the Oracle Community. We encourage others to share in this excitement and get involved!
If you have any questions about participating in your local Oracle Community, or any questions in general about AST’s involvement with OAUG events around the county, please reach out to us at info@astcorporation.com. We’ll be happy to assist you!
We’d also love to hear about your local OAUG involvement and experiences, so leave us a comment below! AST is grateful for the opportunities provided by Oracle Community involvement, and we’re always looking for ways to grow our network and share knowledge with others.
See you this Friday at NCOAUG Training Day 2017 in Oakbrook Terrace, IL!
